We have had a 2.5 year-old female come available. She has been too rough with another small elderly dog in her home, and her family has chosen to prioritize the last years of their elderly dog’s life. She is house trained, good with kids, and great with other dogs who are of similar size. She could be available for a meet and greet this weekend. Both girls had ultrasounds yesterday, and they are both pregnant and due in a few weeks! I went to a new vet for the pregnancy confirmation, and they had just gotten a new ultrasound machine. I saw 34 day old puppies moving their heads around, and they sent me a video of it! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did! Bell’s pups are due 6/27/25 and Rye’s are due 7/4/25. Puppy pickup should be August 23rd and 30th depending on exact birthdates.
Jasper and Bell were bred successfully this past week! We will have an ultrasound in about 30 days to confirm the pregnancy. If successful, the due date would be approximately 6/27/25 and puppy pickup would be tentatively 8/23/25 depending on the birthdate.
Maple had a smooth birth on Thursday, and we’re continuing last year’s trend of having a lot of boys (6 boys, 3 girls). At this point, all pups are reserved. We’ll post if any of them become available for whatever reason. Puppy pickup is tentatively set for June 14th. Bell and Rye are also in heat and should be bred within the next couple weeks. Their pups will be going home mid August.
We had a pregnancy check ultrasound completed today, and though we can’t get an accurate count from it, the vet said they could see at least 8 pups! Woohoo! The due date and projected puppy pickup day are still tentatively accurate and posted on our Litters page!
We’re still waiting for Rye to go into heat!
Maple and Jasper successfully bred over Valentine’s Day weekend! We will get an ultrasound scheduled soon to take place in about a month to confirm the pregnancy. The approximate due date is 4/18/25, which would make puppy pickup tentatively 6/14/25. We have a few female reservations already established, and we have one male reservation as well. We expect there to be room for a few more spots available for those interested in this litter!
We expected Rye to go into heat next, but Maple cut in line. We will be adhering to the current research which indicates back to back breeding as being the best for the girl unless there’s is a specific reason to choose otherwise. She looks great and we’re making plans for a breeding some time in the next couple weeks! If everything works out, we could be looking at pups going home mid June. Hopefully, Rye will come into season soon as well!
We have a 4 year old, spayed, AKC registered, female Golden Retriever with a dark golden coat available. Her hips and elbows have been x-rayed and received good ratings with OFA, and her heart and eyes have been examined and cleared by board certified specialists with results for the public to view in the OFA database as well. She is crate and house trained, knows basic commands, and is leash trained. She plays well with kids (full body wrestles and cuddles with a 6 year old), but can occasionally mouth (put her mouth on but not bite down) when rough housing or being riled up and excited with a dangling toy. She is sweet, cuddly, playful, and is great with other dogs. We’ve noticed that she responds differently to various people with the training and commands she knows, so we think she would do best with an experienced and confident owner who is willing to keep her accountable to behaving a certain way or with a family who is care free and doesn’t mind a dog that throws her wiggly rear around a little too enthusiastically when she’s happy.
